SCHOLARSHIPS
Fountainhead College of Technology offers several institutional scholarships that may be applied for at the time of enrollment. Some scholarships may be combined; some may not. All institutional scholarships, except for the Legacy Scholarships, are first-come, first-served, and all scholarship applications require a $10 application fee payable at the time of application. No more than two scholarships may be combined at one time. The application is not considered submitted until the fee is paid. Scholarships are dispersed upon completion and calculated into the final academic year budget. Scholarship funds will be applied to tuition, not distributed directly to students. Students are evaluated each semester to ensure that they continue to maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 (C+) and meet the published attendance policy. A student who is put on probation for any reason will lose any scholarship not already dispersed. Institutional scholarships may be used only once.  Students must be attending the maximum number of hours being offered in any given semester, or the award will be prorated.

IASP DoD Scholarship for BANSF students:
This scholarship is for students enrolled in the BANSF program. Students must be a Junior or Senior beginning in the FALL 2008 semesters. The scholarship offers full tuition, books, supplies, fees and a $10,000 stipend in exchange for a commitment to work for a DoD agency upon graduation for two years (or the length of scholarship). The 2008 application will be posted for download as soon as it becomes available. We anticipate the 2008 application and supplemental materials will be due by January 31, 2008. LEGACY SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is for candidates who wish to enroll into FCT who are no more than once removed, by blood or marriage, to a graduate in good standing. Examples of acceptable relationships to a previous student are: parent, child, sibling, aunt, uncle, first cousin, niece or nephew. If a candidate has one of these relationships to a graduate in good standing, he or she may qualify for a $500-per-semester award, up to $2,000. The Legacy Scholarship may be combined with any other institutional scholarship. The College has no limit to the number of Legacy Scholarships awarded. 

FOUNTAINHEAD “Make the Grade” SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is for candidates who wish to enroll in the College within one year after graduating high school.   If the candidate had a final high-school GPA of 3.5 to 4.0 (or higher), he or she may qualify for a $250-per-semester award, up to $1,000. If the candidate had a final high-school GPA of 3.0 to 3.49, he or she may qualify for a $125-per-semester award, up to $500.  If the candidate had a final high-school GPA of 2.5 to 2.9, he or she may qualify for a $50-per-semester award, up to $200. There is a limit of five (5) new awards of each range per semester. This scholarship may be combined with the Legacy Scholarship.

FOUNTAINHEAD ATTENDANCE SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is for graduates of FCT who wish to enroll into another degree program at the College and had perfect attendance in their prior degree program. Perfect attendance is obtained by being present for the every hour of every scheduled class. Students who meet this criteria may qualify for a $1,000-per-semester award, up to $4,000.  There is a limit of four (4) new awards per semester. The Fountainhead Attendance Scholarship may be combined with the Presidential Honor Scholarship.

PRESIDENTIAL TRANSFER SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is for candidates who wish to enroll into one of FCT’s bachelor’s degree programs and have successfully completed an associate’s degree or higher with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (B). Candidates who meet these criteria may qualify for a $500-per-semester award, up to $2,000.  There is a limit of four (4) new awards of this type per semester. This scholarship may be combined with the Legacy Scholarship.

PRESIDENTIAL HONORS SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is for graduates of FCT who wish to enroll into another degree program at the College and have meet one of the following criteria: If a candidate had a final GPA of 3.80 to 4.0 (or higher), he or she may qualify for a $1,250-per-semester award, up to $5,000. If a candidate had a final GPA of 3.65 to 3.79, he or she may qualify for a $625-per-semester award, up to $2,500. If a candidate had a final GPA of 3.50 to 3.64, he or she may qualify for a $312.50-per-semester award, up to $1,250. There is a limit of four (4) new awards of each range per semester. The Presidential Honors Scholarship may be combined with the Fountainhead Attendance Scholarship.
