About the program
The Network Security and Forensics program at Fountainhead College trains students to learn how to prepare networks, intranets, and websites from hackers. The program's core focuses on the securing of computer networks, and diagnosing problems, security risks, and cyber analysis processes. Some of the courses include: Security Models and Architecture, Security Management Practices, Recovery and Business Continuity, and Operating System Hardening. The Network Security and Forensics program is designed to help graduates prepare for various entry-level career opportunities involving the network security at a variety of companies.
What is Network Security and Forensics?
With the internet becoming more prominent in business, government, and entertainment everyday, more security concerns have become a major priority. Network Security and Forensics professionals harden computer networks against unauthorized access and intrusion. Issues such as identity theft, hacking, and industrial and governmental espionage have produced a rising awareness of risks to confidential information.

Virus, Trojan horses, denial of services attacks have become commonplace. This has placed experienced and well trained personnel in high demand among companies of all sizes. Increasing numbers of Network Security & Forensics professionals are being hired every year to help keep information secure and reliable. Network Security & Forensics professionals are being seen by business and government as an integral part of the IT infrastructure.
Day Class Schedule
8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
Night Class Schedule
5:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
20% of each week may be accomplished via the Internet.
(Do not come to building on Friday night, assignment is online.)
