About the program
The Electronics Technology program at Fountainhead college of Technology will prepare students for the needs and demands of business and industry in today's world. Students will learn the basics of electronics and the skills of troubleshooting and repair they need to keep up with changes in the world of technology. Students learn mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, thermal and optical devices and systems as well as circuit and system analysis. This Program can help graduates to begin careers in various technology related fields as an Electronic Technician, Instrument Technician, or Field Service Engineer.
What is Electronic Technology?
Industry and business rely on Electronics technology for creation, manufacturing, and maintaining of industrial machinery and processes. Robotics, automation, programming and analysis of manufacturing processes can lead to significant cost reductions and increased output.
Why should I pursue a career in Electronic Technology?
As the mechanization of industrial process continues to move forward, the need for qualified personnel that are familiar with electrical systems continues to grow.
Day Class Schedule
8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
Night Class Schedule
5:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
20% of each week may be accomplished via the Internet.
(Do not come to building on Friday night, assignment is online.)
