Admissions Representative

As an Admissions Representative you will recruit prospective adult and high school students, assess their educational needs and explain the benefits and objectives of the programs offered by Fountainhead College of Technology. Recruiting students for our institute requires a customer-focused attitude, an ability to meet challenges head-on and a passion for changing lives through education.

As an Admissions Representative you will recruit prospective adult and high school students, assess their educational needs and explain the benefits and objectives of the programs offered by Fountainhead College of Technology. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform telephone interviews, face-to-face interviews and e-mail correspondence to prospective students to determine their educational needs, concerns and interests.
  • Closely assist and mentor students through the admissions process.
  • Verbally communicate approved presentations to promote college programs to prospective adult and high school students.
  • Actively generate personal referrals.
  • Participate in promotional activities.

Required Skills

A minimum of 2 years experience in intangible direct sales or a college degree in public relations, marketing or related area. Ability to coordinate activities and give oral presentations, attention to detail, and well developed writing and listening skills. Must have a professional appearance and attitude, excellent attendance record and references. This position requires the ability to work some evenings and occasional weekend hours.

Health Information Management Instructors

An associate's degree or higher is required. Five years experience in medical coding and record management and/or health information management. Candidates must have a professional appearance and attitude, excellent attendance record and references. Ability to coordinate activities and give oral presentations, attention to detail, and well developed writing and listening skills are necessary. Must be able to demonstrate a command of theory and practice, contemporary knowledge, and continued professional improvement. Preference will be given to candidates with professional certifications in medical coding, health information management, medical records, or other relevant certification fields. Must be available for day and evening schedule.

Associate degree required, higher degree preferred. Five years experience in programming field, previous teaching experience a plus. Applicants should have programming experience with some or all of the following: C++, Visual C#.NET, Visual Basic.NET, and ASP.NET, as well as; XML, Java, Database Applications and Design and Structured Query Language (SQL). Applicant must have a professional appearance and attitude, excellent attendance record and references. Also possess the ability to coordinate activities and give oral presentations, attention to detail, and well developed writing and listening skills. Full-time and part-time applicants will be considered.
