Introduction
As part of an ongoing effort to bring high level INFOSEC training to east Tennessee, Fountainhead College of Technology's Center for Information Assurance & Cybersecurity Training (IACT) has teamed up with Security Horizon to offer the NSA's INFOSEC Assessment Methodology (IAM) and INFOSEC Evaluation Methodology (IEM) to local experienced security professionals. Security Horizon serves as the training provider, and the IACT center located at Fountainhead College of Technology serves as the host. It is our hope that providing high quality INFOSEC training locally will serve to support our professional community's security training efforts.

About IACT
Fountainhead College of Technology's Center for Information Assurance & Cyber Security Training (IACT) was created in 2004 in response to the need for skilled workers in the field of information assurance and INFOSEC training. The center's mission is to 1) provide support to Fountainhead students by offering advanced information assurance training, 2) provide support to local law enforcement by way of training and outreach efforts to combat cyber crime, 3) provide support to our community by offering security awareness training by hosting community workshops and 4) provide support to our professional community by offering high level information assurance & INFOSEC training. In March 2006, FCT's IACT Center was designated a National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education (CAEIAE) by the National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security. Our program is now among the top rated cybersecurity programs in the nation. CAE's are considered "model's" for information security curriculum. We are the only CAE in East Tennessee that have received this honor.

We are also the only educational institution in Tennessee with the authorization to grant four CNSS certificates; and as of January 2006, Fountainhead has issued nearly 168 CNSS certificates to graduates of our Network Security & Forensics Bachelor degree program. We are always looking for ways to improve our offerings, and as part of our outreach program, we welcome inquiries for partnerships, guest speakers, and those with innovative ideas.

Fountainhead College of Technology, located in Knoxville, Tennessee, was established in 1947 and offers a bachelor degree in Network Security & Forensics as well as associate degrees in Information Technology and Electronics Engineering.
