Why Fountainhead Online?
In keeping with today's busy lifestyles, Fountainhead has created a system that offers hands-on training online.
Fountainhead's online programs have the same academic requirements, rules and policies as the resident courses with exception to items that only pertain to being on campus (such as parking rules, etc...). Online programs require the student to visit the campus for up to two days at the end of each semester for hands-on assessments.
Fountainhead's online programs are asynchronous, meaning the student does not have to be online at the same time as the instructor. However, online students must maintain ongoing, meaningful contact with their instructors and classmates as well as meet all project deadlines as assigned.
Fountainhead hosts an online learning management system (LMS), connected to the internet with two T1 links (broadband). The LMS provides enhanced infrastructure to provide chat, threaded discussion board, file transfer services, online assessment, interactive asynchronous lessons, and student feedback (grades).
The LMS allows Fountainhead to offer Distance Education programs that combine the same advanced hands-on training as their on campus programs with the flexibility and convenience of online classes. Read the FAQ to learn more about online training at Fountainhead.
