Inclement Weather Policy
Should the weather become dangerous, consult TV, radio and e-mail to see if the College has canceled classes. The student is not penalized for missing if the school is closed. Realizing that some students drive a considerable distance, decisions are made at the earliest possible time. Students living in rural areas should determine for themselves the risk involved in commuting to class if the College remains open. Students in this circumstance will be counted "absent with mitigating circumstances." It is the responsibility of the student to contact their instructor for assignments.
